Flight training in California - Mazzei Flying Service flight school with flight instruction for airplane, helicopter, commercial, private pilot and flight instructor
Piper Seminole Twins in MFS Fleet

The Piper Seminole is used in our multiengine, instrument, and flight instructor training courses. Powered by two 180 hp Lycoming engines, the 4 place Seminole has a 162 kt maximum cruise speed, a climb rate of 1,220 fpm, and a maximum range of 834 nm. The Seminole’s unique T-tail design provides light, responsive control by increasing the effectiveness of the horizontal stabilizer. Because it is located up out of the propeller slip stream and wingwash, the T-tail lowers vibration and reduces cabin noise. The T-tail concept also provides improved pitch and trim control. But most importantly as a multiengine trainer, the Seminole provides big airplane handling characteristics and flight experience at a fraction of the cost. All in all, it’s not too hard to understand why the Piper Seminole is the number one multiengine trainer in the country.
